Troy Stapley's primary responsibility as a deal maker consists of consulting with business owners and assisting with business valuation, deal sourcing, marketing, negotiating and closing M&A transactions.
He works closely with IBG's network of private equity groups, family offices, and corporate buyers, assisting in buy-side and sell-side engagements. He has more than 15 years of successful experience in business consulting and a wide breadth of M&A experience closing many transactions primarily in the southwestern U.S.
Troy's business sales insight is rooted in his more than 15 years of experience in nationwide consulting, commercial lending and equipment financing/leasing to companies in a variety of industries, and ranging from start-up ventures to Fortune 500 companies. His M&A industry experience ranges from wholesale supply distribution and construction-based firms, to insurance agencies, various manufacturing companies and technology firms. His business philosophy: "Planning for a future exit builds better companies now."
